Some mornings just feel magical—and this one definitely did.
Hycell and Jacob’s couples session on the Oregon Coast turned into something even more special than either of us expected. The morning started with steady rain pouring down, the kind that soaks you within minutes. But honestly, it made everything feel even more romantic. The misty coastline, the waves crashing in the background, and the two of them just laughing through the rain.
There’s something about the Oregon Coast in the rain that feels straight out of a movie.
About halfway through the session, completely soaked from head to toe, Jacob did something that made the entire morning unforgettable. Right there in the rain, with the wind and waves around us, he got down on one knee and proposed.
And Hycell’s reaction was pure shock in the best way possible.
No big crowd. No elaborate setup. Just the two of them, standing on the coast in the pouring rain during what was already such a sweet morning together.
It was the kind of moment that proves proposals don’t need to be big or fancy to be perfect. The simplicity of it all—the rain, the surprise, the genuine emotion—made it one of the most beautiful proposals I’ve had the chance to witness.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones that feel the most real.
